Donations of £1,274 to support good causes and local fundraising efforts

The Spoofers have contributed £1,274 to provide support to local funds and charitable causes.

Various amounts have been made to :

Royal British Legion ;
Steps for Jessica (2nd Donation) ;
Anthony Nolan Trust (Via Cross Keys event) ;
Brighter Days Rescue ;
Elsie’s Boxes ;
Bench for The Horsefair – via Parish Council

More donations are planned for 2023 with causes already identified and other ideas being sought after.

During the 2021 (delayed) Annual Championships, the group made a donation of £250 to Anthony Nolan Trust via Mary, the Landlady of the Cross Keys. This supported a fund raising day for the charity during December and the donation was added to the collection made on the day.

Mary always provides excellent hospitality for our various meetings and games of Spoof with the inaugural Annual Championships being held there in 2014 and then every year from 2017 to 2023.
